Rune nails are a members-only item in RuneScape 3. They are small metal nails made from rune bars. They are stackable and tradeable, so they take up little space and are easy to buy and sell.

Players use rune nails in the Construction skill to build furniture in their house. They work with planks to make items like chairs, beds, tables, shelves, bookcases, larders, and barrels. Rune nails rarely break, so building goes faster with fewer wasted nails compared to cheaper types.

Rune nails have other uses too. With level 77 Fletching, players can attach them to flighted ogre arrows to make rune brutal arrows. With level 35 Crafting, players can use 8 rune nails, a tribal mask, and 2 snakeskins to make a broodoo shield.

Players with level 50 Smithing can make rune nails at an anvil. One rune bar and a hammer give 75 nails and 240 Smithing experience. Zombies in the Lair of Tarn Razorlor also drop them.
