Description
The Rune platebody (g) is a rune platebody with gold trim in Old School RuneScape. It is part of the rune gold-trimmed armour set. Players can get it as a reward from hard Treasure Trails. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so clue scrolls are the way to find it.
This platebody has the same stats as a normal Rune platebody. It gives strong defence bonuses of +82 to Stab, +80 to Slash, +72 to Crush, and +80 to Ranged. It has a -6 Magic defence bonus. Its attack bonuses are -30 to Magic and -15 to Ranged. It weighs 9.979 kg.
To wear it, a player needs level 40 Defence and must finish the Dragon Slayer I quest. The gold trim does not change how it works in combat, but it stands out and shows off a hard clue reward.
The platebody can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room as part of the rune gold-trimmed set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored. Its item ID is 2615.
