The rune warhammer is the second strongest warhammer in Old School RuneScape. It is better than the adamant warhammer and only weaker than the dragon warhammer. It is a crush weapon with a +53 crush attack bonus and a strong +62 strength bonus.
Unlike other rune weapons, it needs only 40 Strength to wield. It has no Attack requirement. This makes it a top pick as a knockout weapon for free-to-play strength pures who want big hits without training Attack.
The weapon has three combat styles. Pound trains Attack, Pummel trains Strength, and Block trains Defence. All three use the crush style. It attacks once every 3.6 seconds and weighs about 1.8 kg.
