Description

The Runescroll of Bloodbark is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a scroll written on dark red parchment. When a player reads it, they learn how to craft bloodbark armour. The knowledge is permanent, and the scroll disintegrates after reading.

Bloodbark armour is made at the Blood Altar. Players use blood runes on pieces of splitbark armour to change them into bloodbark. The full set takes 1,450 blood runes and level 81 Runecrafting. The armour needs 60 Magic and 60 Defence to wear.

Normally, this scroll comes from chests in the Shade Catacombs during the Shades of Morton minigame. Players must cremate shade remains to get keys, then open chests and hope for the scroll. Higher tier chests give a better chance, but the grind can take a long time. Buying the scroll skips that whole process.

The scroll is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be equipped, and it weighs only 0.015 kg. Once read, trying to read it again just confirms the knowledge is already learned. Its item ID is 25481.
