Description

Runite bolts are a strong type of crossbow ammo in Old School RuneScape. Players also call them rune bolts. You need a Ranged level of 61 to use them. They can be fired from a rune, dragon, dragon hunter, Armadyl, or Zaryte crossbow.

These bolts give +115 Ranged strength. That makes them tied with amethyst broad bolts as the fourth strongest crossbow ammo in the game. Only dragon bolts, onyx-tipped rune bolts, and dragonstone-tipped rune bolts hit harder. This makes runite bolts a solid pick for training Ranged or fighting tough monsters.

Making these bolts takes work. Smithing the unfinished bolts needs level 88 Smithing, and each runite bar makes 10 of them. Adding feathers needs level 69 Fletching. Buying them saves all that time. The bolts can also be poisoned, but poisoned bolts cannot take bolt tips.

Runite bolts are members-only. They are tradeable, equipable, and stackable, so a full stack takes just one spot in your inventory. They weigh nothing, so you can carry as many as you want without slowing down.
