The scaly blue dragonhide is a members item in Old School RuneScape. It is a drop from all types of blue dragons. This hide is special because it can be scraped with a knife to get 50 noted blue dragon scales.

There is one rule to know. You can only scrape the hide while standing in a bank or near the Grand Exchange. Most bank chests will not work. If you try to cut it anywhere else, the game will stop you with a message.

Many monsters drop this hide. Blue dragons drop it at a rate of 1 in 50. Baby blue dragons drop it at 1 in 100. Brutal blue dragons drop it at 1 in 33. Vorkath drops it at 1 in 10 after the quest is done.

The scaly blue dragonhide is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be worn and does not stack. It weighs 3.175 kg. Players who want a fast supply of blue dragon scales will find this item very useful. One hide turns into a big batch of scales with just a knife and a trip to the bank.
