Description

The sea turtle is a members-only food item in Old School RuneScape. When eaten, it restores 21 Hitpoints. This makes it a strong choice for boss fights, slayer tasks, and any hard combat where big heals matter.

Sea turtles are made by cooking a raw sea turtle on a fire or cooking range. This needs level 82 Cooking and gives 211.3 experience on a success. There is a chance to burn one, and the burn chance drops as your Cooking level rises. Even at level 99, about 23% still burn unless you wear a Cooking cape, which stops burning fully. Without the cape, the clay oven in the Hosidius Kitchen gives the best cooking odds.

Sea turtles also drop from The Leviathan at levels 593, 798, and 1157. It drops 3 to 4 at a time at a rate of 1 in 5.4. They can also be found in the Chest at the Theatre of Blood.

The item is tradeable, noteable, and edible. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. It weighs 0.35 kg and was released on 28 July 2003.
