Description

Raw sea turtle is a members-only fish in Old School RuneScape. It takes level 79 Fishing to catch. Players can get it from the Fishing Trawler minigame, the Tempoross reward pool, or by drift net fishing at Fossil Island with level 80 Fishing. It can also come from a bowl of fish bought at Mairin's Market. Each catch gives 57 Fishing experience.

Cooking a raw sea turtle takes level 82 Cooking. A cooked sea turtle gives 211.3 Cooking experience and restores 21 Hitpoints when eaten. There is a chance to burn it, even at level 99. Wearing the Cooking cape stops all burning. Without the cape, the clay oven in the Hosidius Kitchen gives the best chance to cook it right.

Raw sea turtles have one more use. A player can offer one to Fossegrimen in Rellekka to enchant a lyre and make an enchanted lyre.

This item is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be worn and weighs 0.4 kg. It is a strong pick for players who want high-level Cooking training or good healing food for hard fights.
