Description
The Steam staff upgrade kit is a cosmetic item in Old School RuneScape. You use it on a steam battlestaff or a mystic steam staff. This turns the staff into a steam battlestaff (or) or a mystic steam staff (or). The kit changes how the staff looks. It does not add any combat bonuses.
The upgraded staff keeps all the perks of a normal steam battlestaff. It gives unlimited water and fire runes. It can autocast spells from the Standard, Arceuus, and Ancient Magicks spellbooks. It has a Magic attack bonus of +12 and Magic damage of +35.
The kit is used up when you attach it. The upgraded staff becomes untradeable. You can revert the staff back to normal at any time, but you will not get the kit back. If you die with the staff and it is not protected, it goes back to its plain look.
The kit itself is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 0.5 kg. It is a members item that came out on 9 October 2014. In the game, it can be bought at Justine's shop for 13 Last Man Standing points.
