Description

The Swamp toad is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a small creature with legs that can be removed. When you pull the legs off, you get toad's legs in place of the swamp toad.

Toad's legs are useful in several ways. They heal 3 Hitpoints when eaten. They are the second ingredient for agility potions when added to a toadflax potion (unf). They are also used in gnome cooking to make tangled toad's legs, toad batta, and toad crunchies.

Swamp toads spawn in the Tree Gnome Stronghold swamp enclosure, the south-western area of the Stronghold, and west of the lake in Taverley. They can also drop from Gnomes, Gnome children, Gnome women, and Tortoises. Collecting a swamp toad at the Gnome Stronghold is a task in the Easy Western Provinces Diary.

Note that these toads cannot fill ogre bellows. Only the swamp toads found around Feldip Hills work for that. The Swamp toad is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 0.5 kg. It is a handy item for players training Herblore, cooking gnome foods, or working on the diary.
