Description

The Tanzanite fang is a rare drop from Zulrah, the snake boss in Old School RuneScape. This members item is prized for one big reason. You can use a chisel on it to make the toxic blowpipe, one of the best ranged weapons in the game.

Making the blowpipe takes level 78 Fletching and gives 120 Fletching experience. The result is an empty toxic blowpipe, ready to be charged and used in combat.

You can also dismantle the fang instead. Doing this gives you 20,000 Zulrah's scales, which are used to charge the blowpipe and other Zulrah gear.

The Tanzanite fang is tradeable, so you can buy one without fighting Zulrah yourself. It cannot be equipped on its own and it does not stack. It weighs 0.35 kg.

The fang gets its name from tanzanite, a real blue mineral found only in the Mererani Hills of Northern Tanzania. The fang's color matches the real stone.
