Description

Thammaron's sceptre (u) is a powered staff in Old School RuneScape. It needs 60 Magic to wield. Revenants in the Revenant Caves drop it. The sceptre once belonged to Thammaron, a demon general who served Zamorak. It counts as a Zamorakian item in the God Wars Dungeon.

The sceptre has a +15 magic attack bonus and a +20 magic defence bonus. It attacks every 2.4 seconds from up to 7 tiles away. When charged with revenant ether, it gains a strong passive effect in the Wilderness. Attacks on NPCs there get an extra 50% magic accuracy and damage. This makes it hit harder than a trident of the seas or swamp. It can also attack players, which most powered staves cannot do.

The sceptre holds up to 17,000 revenant ether. The first 1,000 ether act as a deposit to turn it on. A Swap option changes it to a version that can autocast spells, including Flames of Zamorak and Ancient Magicks. Players can also upgrade it to an accursed sceptre with the skull of Vet'ion. It weighs almost nothing, so it is easy to carry on Wilderness trips.
