Description

The Umbral frag is a piece of coral in Old School RuneScape. You plant it in a coral nursery patch. These patches are found in the Coral Nurseries, a spot just off the eastern coast of the Great Conch.

You need level 77 Farming to plant an Umbral frag. It takes 160 minutes to grow. When it is done, you can harvest umbral coral from it. Planting gives 136 Farming XP and harvesting gives 159 XP. Each patch takes one frag and yields 4 or more coral. The crop does not regrow.

Umbral coral is used to make Armadyl brews, so this frag is a good pick for players who want to craft them or train Farming at a high level. A farmer will watch the patch for a payment of 5 pillar coral. Compost does not work on coral nursery patches, and the 4 harvest lives cannot be raised with it. A higher Farming level gives a chance to save a harvest life while picking coral.

The Umbral frag is tradeable and stackable. It cannot be equipped or noted, and it weighs nothing.
