Description

The uncut dragonstone is a rare purple gem in Old School RuneScape. It is a members only item that can be traded with other players. Players who want fast Crafting experience or valuable cut gems buy this item often.

With level 55 Crafting, players can cut this gem into a dragonstone. Each cut gives 137.5 Crafting experience. A cut dragonstone can then be made into 12 dragon bolt tips at level 71 Fletching. This makes the uncut dragonstone useful for training two skills.

Uncut dragonstones are not easy to find in the game. They are always inside the crystal chest in Taverley, which needs a crystal key to open. They can also be bought with Tokkul at the gem shop in Mor Ul Rek, but the shop only has stock when another player sells one. Strong monsters like Callisto, Vetion, Venenatis, Skotizo, brutal black dragons, and revenant dragons drop them too.

Buying uncut dragonstones saves time. Players skip long boss fights and rare drop rates. The gems go straight to Crafting or Fletching training, or they can be cut and sold for profit.
