Unfinished broad bolts
undefined
Description
Unfinished broad bolts are crossbow ammo that is not yet complete. They are used in Old School RuneScape to make broad bolts. Add feathers to them at level 55 Fletching to finish them. Each set of 10 bolts gives 30 Fletching experience. You must first unlock Broader Fletching from a Slayer Master. It costs 300 Slayer reward points.
Finished broad bolts are strong and cheap. They have a ranged strength of +100, the same as adamant bolts. You need level 55 Slayer and 61 Ranged to use them. They can only be fired from a rune crossbow or a stronger one.
Broad bolts matter for Slayer tasks. Turoth and kurasks can only be hurt by broad ammo, so these bolts are a must for those monsters. Many players also use them to train Ranged because they hit hard and do not cost much.
Buying unfinished broad bolts in bulk saves time. A large stack lets you fletch fast experience and stock up on ammo for long Slayer trips or Ranged training at the same time.
