Description

The Warped sceptre (uncharged) is a powered staff in Old School RuneScape. It is a members item that needs 62 Magic to wield. In its uncharged state, the sceptre is tradeable.

To use its built-in spell, charge the sceptre with earth and chaos runes. Each cast uses 2 chaos runes and 5 earth runes. It holds up to 20,000 charges, and combination runes work too. Uncharging it returns all the runes. The runes stay inside the staff, so it saves inventory space compared to the Iban's staff.

The sceptre attacks every 4 ticks with a range of 7 tiles. Its max hit grows with your Magic level, from 16 at level 62 up to 24 at level 99. At 81 Magic or higher, it deals more damage than the Iban's staff, though less than the trident of the seas. That makes it a strong pick for midgame players, and it is a big help for ironmen who cannot kill Cave krakens yet.

The staff gives +12 magic attack and +12 magic defence. Its built-in spell cannot be used against other players in the Wilderness.
