Description

The Wrath rune is the highest level rune in Old School RuneScape. It powers the surge spells, which are the strongest elemental spells in the standard spellbook. These include Wind Surge at Magic level 81, Water Surge at 85, Earth Surge at 90, and Fire Surge at 95. Wrath runes are also used for offering spells in the Arceuus spellbook, like Demonic Offering at level 84 and Sinister Offering at level 92.

Making these runes yourself is hard. You need 95 Runecraft and you must finish the Dragon Slayer II quest to use the Wrath Altar. You also need a wrath or catalytic talisman or tiara, or a Runecraft cape. The altar sits on an island past a dungeon full of blue dragons, and it cannot be reached through the Abyss.

Buying wrath runes skips all of that work. With a stock of wrath runes, players can cast top tier combat spells right away. Fire Surge is a favorite for high level magic training and boss fights. Wrath runes are a smart pick for any mage who wants the strongest spells in the game without the long grind.
