Description
The Abyssal parasite pouch is a Summoning pouch in RuneScape 3. It is used to summon an abyssal parasite familiar. You need level 54 Summoning to use it. Summoning the familiar costs 60 Summoning points and gives 1.1 experience. The familiar lasts 32 minutes.
The abyssal parasite is a beast of burden that can carry up to 7 essence. It can hold unnoted rune essence, pure essence, and impure essence, but no other items. This makes it a great helper for Runecrafting trips. When you enter the Abyss, the familiar stops the full prayer drain. Instead, you lose 10 prayer points every 9 seconds while inside.
Its special move is Abyssal Drain. It attacks a target, drains their Magic level, and deals magic damage. It also restores up to 50 prayer points for you. The pouch can be turned into ten Abyssal Drain scrolls at a Summoning obelisk. You get 12 scrolls if the Voice of Seren is active in the Amlodd district.
The pouch is tradeable and noteable. You can also give it to Bogrog or Lord Amlodd for 75 spirit shards at level 60 Summoning.
