Description

Accursed ashes are a Prayer training item in RuneScape 3. They come from demons like lesser demons and greater demons. In the game, these ashes are a heap of remains from a demon footsoldier.

Players use accursed ashes to gain Prayer experience. Scattering them gives 12.5 Prayer XP. Using them at a gilded altar in a player-owned house gives 43.7 XP. The Ectofuntus gives the most at 50 XP per set of ashes. They can also fill accursed or infernal urns for extra Prayer XP.

These ashes work for free-to-play players too. Free players can earn around 50,000 to 65,000 Prayer XP per hour by scattering them. Before these ashes came out, free players could only train Prayer by burying bones.

Accursed ashes have other uses as well. They can be mixed with incense sticks to make Accursed acadia or Accursed maple incense sticks. They can also be disassembled for Invention parts, most often organic parts.

The ashes are tradeable and noteable, and each set weighs only 0.056 kg. This makes them an easy way to level up Prayer without spending time on drops.
