Adamant platelegs + 2 are tier 42 melee leg armour in RuneScape 3. You need level 40 Defence to wear them. They are adamant platelegs that have been upgraded twice at a forge and anvil.

This is tank armour for the legs slot. It gives 146.9 armour and 630 life points. It also gives 0.84% damage reduction against monsters and 2.205% against players. Like other melee gear, it lowers your Ranged, Magic, and Necromancy accuracy, so it works best for melee combat.

These platelegs are also good for Smithing training. Making them from adamant platelegs + 1 takes 6 adamant bars, level 40 Smithing, and 1,500 progress. This gives 1,020 Smithing experience. You can destroy them for extra experience by turning them into adamant burial platelegs. The full upgrade path from base platelegs to + 2 uses 12 bars and gives 2,040 experience in total.

You can also disassemble them for Invention materials like Cover parts, Deflecting parts, Plated parts, Strong components, and Protective components. They weigh only 0.03 kg, so they are easy to carry. They are a solid pick for mid-level melee players who want cheap and steady defence.
