Description

The Adamant shield (h3) is a heraldic version of the adamant kiteshield in RuneScape 3. It is a shield with a special crest design on the front. It works for both members and free players. The shield is tradeable, so it can be bought and sold with other players.

This shield has the same stats as a normal adamant kiteshield. It needs level 40 to equip and fits in the shield slot as a tier 40 melee item. It gives 125.6 armour and 4% damage reduction against monsters. The heraldic design is purely cosmetic, so players pick it for the look.

The shield comes from medium reward caskets in Treasure Trails. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, and players cannot decorate it themselves. That makes it a nice pick for anyone who wants a rarer look at this level.

Players can store it in a treasure chest in the costume room of a player-owned house. It joins the adamant platebody (h3), platelegs or plateskirt (h3), and helm (h3) as part of a medium-level set. The shield can also be noted or disassembled, and it always gives a Fortunate component when taken apart.
