Description

The Adamant shield (h5) is a heraldic version of the adamant kiteshield in RuneScape 3. It is a shield with a special heraldic design painted on the front. It has the same stats and the same requirements as a normal adamant kiteshield, so it is a cosmetic variant. Players wear it to stand out while keeping the same protection.

This shield is a tier 40 melee shield with 125.6 armour and a 4 percent PvM damage reduction. It is a possible reward from a medium reward casket in Treasure Trails. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, and players cannot decorate it themselves. That makes it a nice pickup for anyone who wants the look without doing clue scrolls.

The shield is free to play, tradeable, and can be turned into a note. It weighs 5.896 kg. Players can also store it in a treasure chest in a player-owned house costume room. It goes there with the adamant platebody (h5), adamant helm (h5), and either the adamant platelegs (h5) or plateskirt (h5) as a medium-level set. It can also be disassembled for Invention, and it always gives one fortunate component.
