Ahrim's book of magic is an off-hand Magic weapon in RuneScape 3. It is part of Ahrim the Blighted's Barrows set. You need level 70 Magic to wield it. It sits in the shield slot, so you can pair it with Ahrim's wand instead of using Ahrim's staff. This dual wield setup lets you cast spells twice as fast as a two-handed staff.

The book has 1486 accuracy, 336 ability damage, and tier 70 stats. It uses the spell-casting style with a range of 8. Keep in mind that the book does not count toward the Ahrim's set bonus, which can lower an enemy's Strength level on a hit.

The book degrades over 100,000 charges of combat, but its power stays the same until it fully runs out. A repair at an NPC costs 100,000 coins, or 50,000 coins on an armour stand with 99 Smithing. You can also augment it with an Augmentor at level 2 Invention.

This is the sixth best off-hand Magic weapon in the game. It is a strong pick for mid-level mages who want fast casting without a big price tag.
