Description

Ahrim's book of magic (broken) is a fully degraded Barrows item from RuneScape 3. It is part of Ahrim the Blighted's equipment set. Because it is fully degraded, it can be traded. It must be repaired before it can be used in combat.

Once repaired, the book needs 70 Magic to wield. It goes in the off-hand slot. It is a tier 70 Mage weapon with 336 ability damage, 1486 accuracy, and a spell range of 8. It gives no armour or defensive bonuses. Players pair it with Ahrim's wand as an alternative to Ahrim's staff. The book does not count toward the Ahrim set bonus.

Repairs cost 100,000 coins at NPCs such as Bob in Lumbridge or Dunstan in Burthorpe. An armour stand in a player-owned house lowers the cost based on Smithing level, down to 50,000 coins at 99 Smithing. After repair, the book lasts for 100,000 charges of combat and works at full power the whole time.

The book can also be augmented with an Augmentor at level 2 Invention. It has a High Alchemy value of 45,000 coins.
