Description
The RS3 Air orb is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is made by casting the Charge Air Orb spell on an unpowered orb at the Air Obelisk. Charging one takes level 66 Magic, 30 air runes, and 3 cosmic runes, and it gives 76 Magic experience.
Air orbs have one main use. Add one to a battlestaff to make an air battlestaff. This needs level 66 Crafting and gives 137.5 Crafting experience. The air battlestaff is a stronger version of the Staff of Air, so air orbs are always in demand for crafting training and staff making.
Buying air orbs saves you a trip to the Air Obelisk in the Edgeville Dungeon. You skip the rune costs and the time spent charging orbs one by one. That means faster Crafting experience with less work.
The air orb is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be equipped or stacked. It can also be disassembled as a Glass item for materials like Clear parts, Delicate parts, Smooth parts, and Enhancing components. Stock up on air orbs and turn your battlestaves into profit or easy experience.
