Description
The Am-hej is a melee necklace in RuneScape 3. It is made by upgrading a berserker necklace with a jal-tok-yt. You need level 90 Strength to wear it. Making one yourself takes level 106 Crafting, which can be boosted, and gives 3,000 Crafting experience.
The Am-hej boosts your melee damage. It adds a bonus equal to 5% of your Strength level, rounded down. At 120 Strength, that is a 6% damage boost. Visible boosts count too. If you raise your Strength to 140 or higher with an extreme strength potion, an overload, or the dragon battleaxe special attack, the bonus grows to 7%. Bleeds do not get this bonus.
Along with the Am-zi, this necklace gives the third highest melee bonus of all neckwear. Only the Essence of Finality amulet and its ornamented version rank higher. The Am-hej works best with big, hard-hitting attacks, since the bonus scales with your damage. The Am-zi is better for fast, low-damage hits.
The Am-hej is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It has a damage stat of 51.7 and fits in the neck slot.
