Description
The Am-zi is a melee necklace in RuneScape 3. It is made by upgrading a Berserker necklace with a jal-tok-yt. You need level 90 Attack to wear it. It has 51.7 damage and sits with the Am-hej as the third best melee neckwear, behind only the Essence of Finality amulet and its ornamented version.
The Am-zi has a strong passive effect. It adds flat bonus damage to your melee attacks equal to 135% of your Attack level, rounded down. Bleeds do not get this bonus. Visible boosts count too. At 120 Attack the bonus is +162, and elder overload potions can push it to +195.
This flat bonus makes the Am-zi great for fast, lower damage attacks, such as dual-wielded Adaptive Strike and Flurry. The Am-hej works better for big hits, since it adds a percentage based on Strength. At 120 Attack and Strength, hits below 2,700 damage gain more from the Am-zi.
The Am-zi is tradeable, equipable, and can be disassembled. Making one yourself needs level 106 Crafting, which can be boosted. Its examine text reads: Cold to the touch.
