Description
The 'Ancient tools' blueprint is a tradeable, members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is one of Howl's original invention blueprints from the Stormguard Citadel Dig Site.
Studying this blueprint unlocks the ability to make three new ancient tools. These are the enhanced fishing rod-o-matic, the enhanced pyro-matic, and the enhanced hammer-tron. Each tool works the same way as its standard version. Studying the blueprint needs level 93 Invention. This level can be boosted, so players as low as level 76 Invention can study it with an extreme invention potion.
Making this blueprint yourself takes work. It needs 95 Archaeology, the completed Howl's Floating Workshop mystery, 300 torn blueprint fragments, and level 70 Crafting at the drafting bench in Howl's workshop. Buying the blueprint skips those steps and lets players who meet the Invention level unlock the tools right away.
The blueprint is noteable but does not stack, and it cannot be worn. It weighs 0.5 kg and is always kept on death outside dangerous areas. It can also be disassembled, giving mostly Simple parts with a small chance of Variable components.
