Description
The RS3 Anti-dragon shield is a free-to-play shield that protects your character from the magical fire-breath of dragons. It reduces dragonfire damage, and when you drink an antifire potion at the same time, the damage is blocked completely. This protection does not work against the King Black Dragon's special attacks or dragonfire from the Queen Black Dragon.
The shield is a must-have for the Dragon Slayer quest. Without it, the dragon Elvarg can hit you for up to 1500 life points. It fills the shield slot as a tier 5 hybrid class item, so it works with melee, ranged, and magic combat. It has an armour rating of 30 and 0.5% PvM damage reduction.
The Anti-dragon shield can also be upgraded. With level 45 Crafting, you can attach a clingy mole to make the anti-dragon shield (mole), which blocks even more dragonfire and reduces damage from the giant mole. Members with level 90 Smithing can attach a draconic visage to create a dragonfire shield, deflector, ward, or shroud. Oziach can attach the visage for 1,250,000 coins if your Smithing level is too low. This shield is a smart pick for any player fighting dragons in RuneScape 3.
