The Apex hide armour set + 4 is a full set of ranged tank armour in RuneScape 3. It comes as one Grand Exchange set item that holds five pieces at the + 4 upgrade level. The set contains the Apex hide cowl + 4, body + 4, chaps + 4, vambraces + 4, and boots + 4.

Apex hide armour is high level gear that runs from tier 85 to tier 90. It is made for players who fight with ranged and want strong defence at the same time. The armour never degrades, so it does not need repairs. It cannot be augmented. It is a members-only item.

This armour is made from apex leather, which comes from hides found at Havenhythe Big Game Hunter. Crafting it takes level 100 Crafting, so buying the set skips a lot of work and materials.

The set item is tradeable and noteable. It can be opened into its five pieces at a Grand Exchange clerk. This makes it an easy way to hold, move, or trade the whole armour set at once. It was added to the game on 23 March 2026 with the Havenhythe continent update.
