Description
The RS3 Archaeology potion recipe is a Dragonkin potion recipe tablet. Read it to unlock the ability to mix archaeology potions in RuneScape 3. These potions boost your Archaeology level by three. The tablet is destroyed after you read it and confirm.
The recipe is made from four fragments. These fragments come from two excavation hotspots in the Crypt of Varanus at the Orthen Dig Site. The varanusaur remains need level 90 Archaeology, and the dragonkin reliquary needs level 96. Putting the four fragments together gives 10 Crafting experience. Only the full recipe is tradeable, so getting one saves you from digging for all four fragments yourself.
This is a members only item. It can be noted but not stacked. It cannot be equipped, disassembled, or alchemised. If you die outside a dangerous area, the recipe is always kept.
The Archaeology potion recipe also counts toward the Draconic Decoctions achievement, which asks players to discover all listed potion recipes. It is a smart pick for anyone training Archaeology who wants a level boost to reach higher digs and unlocks sooner.
