Description
The Armadyl chainskirt is a strong leg armour piece for rangers in RuneScape 3. It comes from the God Wars Dungeon and is part of the Armadyl armour set. You need 70 Defence to wear it.
This is tier 70 Power armour for the Ranged class. It gives a Ranged damage bonus, an armour rating of about 285, and a prayer bonus of 1. It is the second best non-degrading leg armour for rangers, behind only the Anima Core legs of Zamorak. It is the Ranged match for the Bandos tassets used in melee and the gown of subjugation used in magic.
As Power armour, it gives less defence than Karil's skirt from Barrows. In return, it boosts your Ranged damage and adds prayer. That prayer bonus makes it a good pick for the TzHaar Fight Cave.
In the game, the chainskirt drops from Kree'arra and his bodyguards Wingman Skree, Flight Kilisa, and Flockleader Geerin. Drops from Kree'arra are rare, and drops from the bodyguards are very rare. Buying the chainskirt lets you skip those long boss trips and gear up your ranger right away.
