The Armadyl chainskirt shard is a members only item shard in RuneScape 3. Players get these shards from Kree'arra or his minions when an Armadyl chainskirt drops while CoinShare is active. When that happens, 120 shards are split equally among the players who killed the monster. The shards go straight to each player's bank.
Shards are useful in two ways. You can sell or trade them, or you can collect 120 shards and combine them into a full Armadyl chainskirt. This makes shards a simple way to work toward the chainskirt piece by piece instead of getting the whole drop at once.
The shard is tradeable and stackable, so a large number of shards takes up only one bank or inventory slot. It weighs nothing and has a value of 1 coin.
