Description
The Armadyl rune is a catalytic rune in RuneScape 3. It looks like an air rune, but it is green. These runes are stackable, tradeable, and members only.
Armadyl runes are used to cast Storm of Armadyl. This is a combat spell on the Standard spellbook. It needs level 77 Magic to cast. Players who want to use this spell need a supply of these runes.
Crafting them yourself takes work. You must finish the quest Ritual of the Mahjarrat and have level 72 Runecrafting. You craft them at the air altar using pure essence and dust of Armadyl. The dust comes from grinding shards of Armadyl, which only glacors drop. Each rune crafted gives 10 Runecrafting experience. Higher Runecrafting levels give more runes per dust, from 7 runes at level 72 up to 11 runes at level 110.
Armadyl runes can also be disassembled for Invention. Each attempt uses 50 runes and gives 2.1 Disassembly experience. Most results are Magic parts, with a chance at Crafted parts or Powerful components.
