Description
Dust of Armadyl is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. Players use it to make Armadyl runes. The dust is stackable, so it does not take up extra bank or inventory space. It weighs nothing and is tradeable.
To make Armadyl runes, bring the dust and pure essence to the Air altar. You need at least level 72 Runecrafting. At level 72, each dust gives 7 runes. At level 77 to 87 you get 8 runes. At level 88 to 98 you get 9 runes. At level 99 you get 10 runes, and at level 110 or above with boosts you can get 11. The number of runes per essence works the same as crafting air runes.
Players can also make the dust themselves by grinding Shards of Armadyl. Grinding gives 8 dust and 1 Herblore experience. With level 85 Magic, the Telekinetic Grind spell turns 60 shards into 480 dust at once.
The dust can be disassembled for Invention. It gives Simple parts most of the time and Variable components on rare occasions. Buying Dust of Armadyl saves time for players who want to craft Armadyl runes for profit or Runecrafting training.
