Description

Ascension grips are tier 90 ranged power gloves in RuneScape 3. They go in the hands slot and are made for ranged fighters. They are the ranged match to the razorback gauntlets for melee and the celestial handwraps for magic. You need level 90 Ranged to wear them.

As power armour, the grips boost your damage while you fight from range. They also give a prayer bonus of 2. This makes them a strong pick for hard bosses and high level combat.

The grips last for 100,000 charges of combat. After that they degrade to nothing and cannot be repaired. Once you equip them, they become untradeable, even if you have not used them in a fight. If you die in the Wilderness with a fully charged pair, they drop 25,000 coins. The coins drop less as the charges go down.

These gloves drop from monsters in the Monastery of Ascension, such as the six Legio bosses, Gladius, Scutarius, Rorarius, and Capsarius. The drops are very rare. If you disassemble the grips, you always get 5 Ascended components, plus a chance at other useful parts.
