Description

Asyn remains are an item used in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame in RuneScape 3. Players get these remains by killing Asyn Shades in the Shade Catacombs. Asyn Shades are level 84 and always drop the remains. Players can also get them from Asyn shadows on the medium route in Temple Trekking.

Burning Asyn remains needs level 63 Firemaking, a tinderbox, and eucalyptus pyre logs or better. Place the pyre logs on a funeral pyre in Mort'ton, add the remains, then light the pyre. With eucalyptus pyre logs, this gives 246 Firemaking experience and 79.4 Prayer experience. Wearing Morytania legs 3 or 4 gives 50% more Prayer experience and a better chance at higher shade keys.

After the burn, a black or silver shade key or 800 to 900 coins will appear next to the pyre. These keys open the tomb or matching colored doors to chests that hold valuable items.

Asyn remains are stackable and tradeable. They can be disassembled for Organic parts or, more rarely, Pious components. This item is a solid pick for players training Firemaking and Prayer at the same time.
