Description
The Augmentation Dissolver is an Invention device in RuneScape 3. You use it on an augmented item to remove and destroy the augmentor. Any gizmos on the item are destroyed too. If the item is repairable degradable gear, it will be left broken. The dissolver cannot be used on items that degrade to dust.
This device is useful when a player wants to strip an augmentor off gear without keeping the parts. Players who want to save both the gizmos and the item should use an equipment separator instead, but that tool needs level 115 Invention and cannot be traded.
Making an Augmentation Dissolver requires level 16 Invention. It is built at an Inventor's workbench with 1 Vial, 35 Delicate parts, and 35 Cover parts. Discovering the blueprint gives 628 Invention experience, and each dissolver made grants 99 experience.
The Augmentation Dissolver is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, weighs 0.01 kg, and has a buy limit of 200. It can also be disassembled, most often giving Simple parts. It was released on 14 March 2016.
