The bacon mound is a food item in RuneScape 3. It is the biggest item in the bacon cooking line, made from 16 total bacon. Eating one heals 1100 life points, which makes it a strong food choice for combat and training.
Players make a bacon mound by cooking a raw bacon mound on a fire or range. This needs level 54 Cooking and gives 158 experience. It stops burning at level 49. Cooking it also requires the quest Bringing Home the Bacon, and the item is members only.
The bacon mound has a special use too. Players who want the Elfborne title need one. To get the title, hold only one chocolate bar, one bread, and one bacon mound, then use the bacon mound on the fragment of Seren. This also completes a hard Tirannwn achievement.
The item can be disassembled for Invention materials. It gives mostly Organic parts, with small chances of Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components. It weighs 0.907 kg, and its examine text reads "Breakfast for one."
