The bacon pile is a members only food item in RuneScape 3. It heals 700 life points when eaten, which makes it a solid choice for combat, bossing, or training. Each pile contains 4 total bacon and weighs 0.907 kg. It is tradeable, noteable, and edible.
Players make a bacon pile by cooking a raw bacon pile on a fire or range. This needs level 34 Cooking and the quest Bringing Home the Bacon. Cooking one gives 108 Cooking experience and takes 2 ticks, or 1.2 seconds. The pile stops burning at level 49 Cooking. Cooked bacon piles cannot be used to make heaps or mounds of bacon.
The bacon pile can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives 1.0 disassembly experience and pulls from the Food and herbs category. The base junk chance is 62.6%. Possible materials include Organic parts, Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components, with Organic parts being the most common at 89 out of 100.
The bacon pile was added to the game on 9 July 2013. It is a handy pick for players who want cheap healing food or easy Invention materials.
