Balarak's sash brush handle is one of three parts needed to build the damaged Balarak's sash brush in RuneScape 3. It is a fragment from a dragonkin tool. When you combine it with the brush head and the brush base, you get a damaged Balarak's sash brush. This step needs level 103 Archaeology.

Once the damaged brush is repaired, it becomes a powerful skilling off-hand for Archaeology. The finished brush gives a 5% boost to excavation success rate and a 5% boost to mattock base precision. It also gives a 10% chance to find an extra material while excavating. On top of that, it has a 5% chance to grant Chronal Focus when you reach 100% sprite focus.

The handle normally drops while excavating at the level 103, 107, or 113 hotspots at the Daemonheim Dig Site. The drop rates are rare, so finding one on your own can take a long time.
