Description
The Ball of black wool is a Crafting item in RuneScape 3. It is made by spinning black wool on a spinning wheel. Black wool comes from black sheep, which can be found at Fred the Farmer's farm in Lumbridge and near the Dark Wizards' Tower close to Falador.
This item has one main use. Two balls of black wool can be woven at a loom to make a strip of black cloth. Black cloth is used to craft black wizard equipment. Weaving the cloth gives 1.2 Crafting experience, and spinning each ball gives 2.5 Crafting experience.
Making a ball of black wool only needs level 1 Crafting, so any player can do it. Each ball takes 1.8 seconds to spin and uses 1 black wool. The item is tradeable, so it can be bought instead of gathered and spun by hand.
The ball of black wool is not stackable and cannot be worn. It weighs 0.012 kg. It can also be disassembled for Simple parts or, on rare occasions, Variable components. Players who want to craft black wizard gear or train Crafting can put this item to good use.
