The bane pickaxe + 1 is a level 80 pickaxe in RuneScape 3. You need level 80 Mining to use it. It is a bane pickaxe that has been upgraded once, so it hits a little harder than the base version. It is a members item and it is tradeable.
This pickaxe has 180 penetration and deals 41 to 121 damage per swing, with an average of 81. It can mine rocks up to banite ore. You can store it on your tool belt, so it never takes up space in your bag.
It can also work as a melee weapon. It uses the crush style, has 110 accuracy, and swings at the fastest attack speed. You need level 80 Attack to wield it.
Players make this pickaxe at a forge and anvil by using 2 bane bars on a bane pickaxe. This takes level 80 Smithing and gives 1,400 Smithing experience. With 4 more bane bars, it can be upgraded again into a bane pickaxe + 2. If you want faster mining at level 80 without the full upgrade cost, this pickaxe is a solid pick.
