The Bane pickaxe + 4 is a level 80 pickaxe in RuneScape 3. It is a bane pickaxe that has been upgraded 4 times. You need level 80 Mining to use it.
This pickaxe gives the same mining bonuses as the Imcando pickaxe, but it cannot be augmented. It has 180 penetration and deals 44 to 124 mining damage, with an average of 84. You can store it on your tool belt to save inventory space.
Smiths can make this pickaxe at a forge and anvil using 16 bane bars and a bane pickaxe + 3. It takes 2,520 progress and gives 11,200 Smithing experience in total. You can also destroy it for extra experience by making a bane burial pickaxe.
The Bane pickaxe + 4 is tied to the Banebane achievement. To earn it, mine banite ore with this pickaxe while wearing a full set of bane armour + 4 and listening to the music track Bane of Summer.
