Description
The Barberry seed is a members-only seed in RuneScape 3. It grows into a barberry bush and needs level 77 Farming to plant. You plant one seed in a bush patch. A farmer will watch the patch for you if you pay 15 hammerstone hops.
The bush takes three hours and twenty minutes to grow. That is five stages of 40 minutes each. Planting the seed gives 175 Farming experience. Checking the health of the grown bush gives 1,600 experience. Picking from the bush gives 50 more Farming experience, but you can only pick once per bush.
This seed is also good for Agility training. When you pick a fully grown bush, your character somersaults over it and eats the fruit right away. You do not get an item, but you have a chance to gain Agility experience. The amount depends on your Agility level.
The Barberry seed is stackable, tradeable, and weighs nothing. It can also be disassembled for Organic parts most of the time, with a rare chance of Living components. It is a solid pick for players who want strong Farming experience with a bonus for Agility.
