Description
The Bat mask is a cosmetic head slot item in RuneScape 3. It comes from medium clue scrolls as a Treasure Trail reward. It has no stat bonuses, no combat requirements, and no tier. Players wear it for its look, not for fighting.
The mask has a fun trick. When you wear it with the bat staff, you can right click the staff to do a special emote. You can also store the mask in the treasure chest of your player-owned house costume room, where it counts as a medium level item.
Its examine text says "The bats have left the belltower." This is a nod to the song "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by the band Bauhaus. It may also point to the old saying "bats in the belfry."
The Bat mask has an item value of 800, a Low Alchemy value of 320, and a High Alchemy value of 480. Its Grand Exchange limit is 2. It can be disassembled under the Clothing category and always gives 1 Fortunate component. The mask was released on 15 April 2008.
