Description
The Bat staff is a members-only magic staff in RuneScape 3. It is a tier 40 main hand weapon with the carved head of a fierce bat on top. It was added to the game on 4 August 2010 as an elite Treasure Trails reward.
This staff works like a mystic air staff, so it gives unlimited air runes when casting spells. It also adds a +3 prayer bonus, which most staves do not have. Its stats include 628 accuracy, 576 ability damage, and a range of 8. To wield it, a player needs 40 Magic, 40 Attack, 60 Prayer, and 20 Defence.
The Bat staff has a fun extra feature. When a player wears a bat mask and holds the staff at the same time, they can operate the staff to perform a special emote called Bat-dance.
The staff is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 2.267 kg. It can also be disassembled for Invention. It always gives one Fortunate component, plus a chance at Stave parts, Magic parts, Padded parts, Powerful components, or Imbued components. It is a nice pick for players who want a useful staff with rare style.
