Description

The Black armour set (sk) is a full set of black armour in RuneScape 3. It contains four pieces: a black full helm, a black platebody, a black plateskirt, and a black kiteshield. This is the plateskirt version of the set. There is also a version with platelegs instead.

You need level 25 Defence to wear the armour pieces. The full set gives a total of 322 armour. The helm gives 76, the platebody gives 87, the plateskirt gives 83, and the kiteshield gives 76. Wearing full black armour without the kiteshield lets you enter the Black Knight's Fortress.

The set is a free-to-play item, so you do not need to be a member to use it. It is tradeable and noteable, but the boxed set itself cannot be worn. You can break the set into its four pieces at the Grand Exchange, or put the pieces back into one set. Many players keep the set form because it takes up only one bank space instead of four. This helps a lot for free-to-play players with small banks. Black armour cannot be made with the Smithing skill.
