Description

The Black beret is a cosmetic hat in RuneScape 3. It gives no combat stats and has no requirements to wear. Players use it to add style to an outfit. Its fun examine text reads "Parlez-vous Francais?" which means "Do you speak French?"

This beret comes from easy Treasure Trails. It can be found in a reward casket from an easy clue. It can also come from a Giant Oyster, a Treasure turtle, or Magical Dice.

The Black beret has a neat extra use. Players can take it to Patchy on Mos Le'Harmless. He can attach it to a mime mask to make a beret mask for 500 coins.

The item is tradeable, lendable, and noteable. It can be stored in the treasure chest in the costume room of a player-owned house as an easy-level item. It can also be disassembled as a Clothing item, with a special chance to give Fortunate components.

The Black beret was added to the game on 5 May 2004. It also counts as an evil item for Evil Dave's check in the Shadow of the Storm quest.
