Description

The casket is a members only item in RuneScape 3. It is a wooden chest that holds a small prize inside. When a player opens it, they get one reward at random.

Coins are the most common reward. A casket can hold 20, 40, 80, 160, 320, or 640 coins. It can also hold uncut gems, like a sapphire, emerald, ruby, or even a diamond. Rare rewards include the loop half or tooth half of a key. Players can also find a cosmic talisman or a court summons inside.

In the game, caskets come from big net fishing, which needs level 16 Fishing. A skills necklace makes them easier to find. They also come from Miscellania workers, barrels in the Viyeldi Caves, and uncharted islands. Many monsters drop them too, such as Dagannoth, waterfiends, icefiends, rock crabs, and mummies.

The casket weighs 5 kg and does not stack. It can also be taken apart with the Invention skill. This almost always gives simple parts, but it can give variable components on rare occasions. A casket is a fun way to test your luck and pick up extra loot.
